by public transport / on foot

From the FFS railway station in Lugano, go down the steps to Via Cattedrale and then continue walking along Via Nassa. Once you pass the LAC, you’ll find the Olgiati collection on the other side of the road, in the basement of the Central Park building. Or take the Line 4 TPL bus for Lugano city centre and get off at the Piazza Luini stop.

From the city centre take the Line 1 for Paradiso, or the Line 4 for Canobbio, and get off at the Piazza Luini stop.

 

by car, arriving from the south:

A9 motorway (Autostrada dei Laghi) towards Como–San Gottardo or A8 motorway towards Varese–Stabio (Gaggiolo). Recommended exit: Lugano SUD towards Viale Giuseppe Cattori, turn left (1.5 km) onto Riva Paradiso (57 m) and Riva Antonio Caccia (600 m), and continue until you reach the LAC roundabout.

 

by car, arriving from the north:

A2 motorway, towards San Gottardo–Chiasso-Italy. 
Recommended exit: Lugano NORD, exit 49 towards Ponte Tresa/Airport (1.4 km), follow the directions for Lugano at the junction, keeping left (120 m), at the roundabout take the first exit for Autostrada Lugano-Centro (1.8 km ) onto Via Bioggio (280 m), Via Besso (1.0 km) and Via Romeo Manzoni (260 m), turn right onto Via Clemente Maraini, turn left onto Via Antonio Adamini and Riva Antonio Caccia, and continue until you reach the LAC roundabout.
